Maternity sessions are best scheduled between 28 and 34 weeks of pregnancy. This is the sweet spot where your belly is beautifully round and visible, but you are still comfortable standing, walking, and moving around. I recommend booking at the end of your first trimester to ensure availability on our calendar.

We have a curated list of gorgeous locations around the greater Seattle area, selected for their beautiful light and clean backdrops. Options include mountain lakes, waterfront beaches, grassy fields, and deep forest trails. Once you book, we'll choose the location that matches the look you want.

I believe you shouldn't have to wait weeks to see your photos. Your proofing gallery of hand-edited images will be ready within 7 business days of your session. Once you select your favorite files, they are immediately available for high-resolution download.

Yes! All packages give you the option to choose your favorite photos. If you fall in love with more images than what is included, you can purchase additional hand-edited files à la carte for $20 per photo. You can also upgrade to the full gallery (all files in the gallery with a standard color edit) for $200.

We live in the Seattle area, so rain is a normal part of life! I monitor the weather forecast closely leading up to outdoor shoots. If heavy rain or high winds are predicted, we can either move your session into my warm studio, or reschedule to a mutually open makeup date. There is no fee for weather reschedules.

My studio wardrobe includes a variety of high-end, photographer-approved dresses in soft earth tones and neutrals, designed to flatter expecting moms and mothers post-partum. I also have coordinated rompers and outfits for babies and toddlers. Wardrobe access is completely free with all full session bookings.
